Another historic villa in the centre of Tirana has been torn down to be replaced with apartments.
Located on Rruga Rreshi Collaku between Rruga Myslym Shyri and Rruga Kavajes, the three-story villa was built in the 1930s. It had been left for many years without any maintenance or repairs.

Built in the neoclassical style, it was declared as a Culture Monument in 2015. Despite its status and supposed protection, it will be replaced by a block of apartments. It is one of an increasing number of old villas being demolished recently to make way for new developments.
